Map Selection


I worked on the Map Voting UI with engineer Evan Lesh (who did an excellent job of bringing it to life in-game.)

Players would choose from 4 maps and then a spinner would land randomly on the selected map.

The size of a map’s wedge was determined by the number of votes. Maps with more votes stood a greater chance of winning, but since the spinner was random, everyone’s selection had at least some chance to get picked.
